Taylor co-wrote, co-produced, and stars in The Ride Home, which had it's world premiere at the Vancouver International Women in Film Festival on March 10th.
Taylor Hastings was born and raised in the suburbs of Vancouver, BC. Her one track mind of becoming an actor, led her to staying in the city to complete her diploma in acting, and to create her body of work. Since graduating, Taylor has accumulated an impressive body of work, reaching across film, television and theatre. Having worked, most notably, on the Lifetime Network's Witches of East End and Hallmark's Christmas film, The Bridge, as well as various independent projects and commercials, she is building a solid resume in the city. She gained a great deal of recognition for her portrayal of Kacie in Brendan Prost's feature film, Spaces and Reservations.
While her one track mind is what got her started in her career, she's opened her horizons to producing, and recently co-produced (and starred in) All New People with Ben Bilodeau Productions. Her work with that company has led to further freelance producing opportunities in theatre, having just completed producing Calendar Girls with Vagabond Players and moving on to a new, upcoming project in the fall,
Her passions lie in storytelling, networking and thriving and contributing to a strong community of artists.
